They grow up so fast

Last night we learned that Linden tipped the scales over 3 pounds! Actually, 3.02 pounds (1370 grams) to be exact. She is also breathing great. Linden has been breathing room air for the past few days. The nasal cannula she's hooked up to is adding oxygen pressure to help her when she takes a breath and she goes through 3 liters a day. That level will be decreased over time until they remove the cannula and she breathes without any assistance.

Last night was also a big night because Linden was moved to a new room! She has outgrown the small room in the Balloon neighborhood and is moving down the hall to Leaf 324. The rooms closer to the front desk are for babies requiring more assistance, so the fact that they are moving her to the farthest neighborhood away makes me wonder if she'll surprise us once again with an earlier-than-expected arrival.
